One of Our K9 Heroes is Missing - Please Read the Following...

K-9 Scotty from Gloucester City, NJ PD has been missing since early Sunday morning March 18th, 2007.

Between 3:30 and 7:30 AM Sunday, the roof of his kennel collapsed from the weight of the ice and he escaped. To date, he is still missing.

Scotty is a 3 year old black German Shepherd Dog. If anyone sees him, please contact Gloucester City, NJ PD at 856-456-0900.

Please do not try to put him into your car to return him. He becomes very aggressive in a vehicle. He thinks he is working. There is a reward for his safe return.

Anything you can think of that may help, please do so. Scotty and his partner, Marco were both at last year's ceremony.

Camden Riversharks Hosting Our K9 Heroes Event
Game Devoted to Paying Tribute to All 911 Search and Rescue Dogs

The Camden Riversharks, of the The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Clubs League, will host the Our K9 Heroes Event on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at Campbell's Field when the Riversharks face the Lancaster Barnstormers.

The pre-game ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. and game time is 7:05 p.m.

This year is the 5th anniversary of the attack on our country and our way of life as we know it. With the dedicated hard work of all the search and rescue dogs and their handlers, many people were rescued and the remains of many more were recovered.

Lillian Kline, a dog trainer and the user of mobility assistance dogs, can personally attest to the difference her service dogs have made in her life. Lillian felt that it was time to pay tribute to all the 911 dogs.

Our K9 Heroes ceremony will honor those dogs involved in the 911 tragedy plus all working dogs from every aspect of their working life.

Lillian has written a story that celebrates the life of all service dogs and their contributions. Please take a few minutes to read Lillian's Story.
